| CAP team enjoys Millions of Milkshakes, Fall 2012 |
The Career Advantage MENTORING Program (CAP) is offered through the Marshall Undergraduate Student Services Office, and provides sophomore, junior and senior-level undergraduates (majors only) the opportunity to be paired with Marshall alumni who assist them in developing the professional, interpersonal and networking skills.
FOR STUDENTS
Participating in the CAP Program requires a commitment for all students. CAP is a year-long program. Mentoring relationships are two-way and you WILL need to contribute and attend all of the events that your mentor and your team plan -- attendance will be tracked!
Students who “flake out” on mentors at the last minute, who do not respond to mentor emails in a timely fashion, who do not show interest in the program, etc. will be removed from the program as necessary.
Please be sure to think about WHY you want to join the program before applying. Don’t over schedule yourself! For information about how to apply to CAP:

FOR MENTORS
We are seeking mentors with at least five years of work experience in the areas of accounting, finance, marketing, law, entrepreneurship, consulting, real estate, hospitality, sports management and general management. We require that mentors be located in Southern California and that they travel less than 25% in order to participate in this program. Mentors should be able to mentor a team of 2 - 3 undergraduate students for an entire academic year.
